I mean, for RS gold the job of acquiring 300 tokens and another 35 to recharge every 5-6 hours, berserker shield is kind of pathetic. For those who have strength from the high digits for whatever you are in (ex. 88, 99,78) then you could find an additional 1 damage in your maximum hit, but it really does nothing. Even with the extra 1 damage, that reward is fairly pathetic for how often it requires to be recharged.
Rune gauntlets are nice, but there's the recharge cost should you die, and if you pk (which is pretty much the only use for them in F2P) you're bound to die, which is a nuisance. Even the scope reward of green d'hide coif is weak for how frequently it needs to be recharged. Mage is really the only worthwhile class for those rewards cause they're the best even when uncharged. I feel like either the fees should last longer, or be completely removed and just up the initial price.
Feelings? What a disappointment! I expected these things to be a revolution in events, for once a loosening of the principles Jagex place on the way we perform events. I expected these things to have Forge-level customisation with dialog boxes and savable configs. You know, a proper tool. Alright, so I overexpected and when something like that was released then a lot of the RS community might have problems using it, but I wanted something with depth.
What did I get? Some extremely small set of cool-looking-but-useless tools that don't really work. I can see the potential for some of them, but they can't be combined at all and there's some basic principles missing. For example, hide and seek. Seems like a fantastic idea. Want to be familiar with issues? You all have to maintain precisely the same clan channel. Well, kind of - the seekers' rings are fairly useless as they only replicate and don't have any actual clues in them such as a distinction of how close you are to some one (else I could not get it to work). The other issue is that everyone on your channel is purple on the map, and thus if you're close enough to buzz you're on the map.
And then you can not even tag someone. The best I can think of to get a label needs to be a rubber chicken or carrot strike, but even then it is not obtained the clan functionality built in. What games can you play in which you can't tag anyone? Of this means that most of my game ideas are somewhat unworthy. Take my idea of adapting 40-40 house to old school runescape gold for enjoying someplace like varrock city center.
